A new issue of Frames Cinema Journal has been published, guest-edited by film scholar extraordinaire Catherine Grant of the University of Sussex. There are essays and video-essays by a range of writers, including Kristin Thompson, Adrian Martin, Girish Shambu, and Kevin B. Lee. My short essay “Thirteen Notes:  A Poetics of Cinematic Randomization” is among them.
